Darron Walton, the front of house, sales engine of the De Villiers Walton (DVW) partnership is one of the two Managing Directors and Co-founders. Since its inception in 2003, Darron has been leading DVW in helping organizations in EMEA and North America deliver the most from their IT investments, particularly in the SAP product sets such as SAP CRM, SAP BW and the latest SAP NetWeaver technology. Darron founded DVW with professional certifications in SAP CRM and SAP SCM products and technology, leading naturally into the field where he has gained more than 14 years international consulting, project management and business development experience gained over 30 assignments in EMEA, the Americas, and Australasia. This geographic spread has naturally led to a wide variety of industry exposure including Chemicals, Consumer Products, Media, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, Public Sector, Retail and Hi-Tech.
In addition to Darron’s current roles of Account Management, Sales and Practice Development, Darron contributes extensively to the DVW preferred external trainer status for SAP UK, Sweden and Belgium in the area of CRM, delivering a variety of classes from product overview courses through end user process classes and technical team certifications. When required to be onsite, Darron’s project roles have varied from project and program management, solution architect, business analyst through to system customization. However it is Darron’s substantial process experience, particularly within the CRM systems, such as Marketing and Sales and Order Fulfilment, for example, that drove him to realize a gap in the market.
Realizing a need for revolutionary web interfaces for enterprise software that are more intuitive, usable and exciting than anything yet seen in the business arena, has led to the development of the new ZUI range of products. Together with the ZUI range of software products and the DVW range of service offerings and skills, DVW is a testament to Darron’s vision and capabilities specifically in the CRM and SFA arena and most notably now for the F&B, High-Tech and FMCG industries.
