David Heughan, currently Vice President of the US division, joined De Villiers Walton (DVW) in 2005 having recognized that projects are most successful when specialist technology knowledge is combined with a wealth of management and business experience.  For many years David has utilized just such experience to help organizations in EMEA and North America maximize IT investments, making David a perfect addition to the DVW management team.

David’s academic foundation, a BSC Honors in Computer Science from The University of Edinburgh, and keen focus on how technology should be deployed to support business, has led to a number of key engagements; more than 25 discrete project assignments across international boundaries and 15 industries.  David’s SAP CRM experience from version 3.0 through to the latest versions means that he is able to draw on years of experience to add ongoing value to his clients through hands-on delivery and the application of extensive knowledge.

Excellent interpersonal skills combined with academic, industry and technology experience help David in his desire to grow the DVW brand in the US market.  David will achieve this by continuing to show clients that there is another way to realize IT projects; by delivering clear, open and honest advice based on real and relevant experience.
